Plan campaigns and contributions

Campaigns are now their own home in AmplifyUp—plan the work, assign workflows, and tie each piece to real content.

Feature

  • Open Campaigns from the main navigation to create campaigns with priority and date ranges
  • Add contributions on a campaign: pick a content type, assign a workflow, and link existing content or create a new entry
  • See workflow progress at a glance on the campaign list view, and update state or target release right in the table

Delete pages completely from Composer

Removing a page in Composer now means what it says: the page, its full version history, and any nested pages are gone—and live visitors stop getting that layout.

Improvement

  • Delete page removes every saved version (draft and live), not just the version you were viewing
  • Deleting a parent page also removes nested pages under that route and their full history
  • A confirmation step explains how many pages will be removed and whether any are live today
  • A short progress checklist shows removal steps completing before you return to the parent page in the tree

Fixes

  • Deleting a page from the Pages panel now works reliably on the first try

Know at a glance which layouts and pages include a component—and open them in one click.

Improvement

  • Component settings include a Usage tab that lists every layout and page using that component
  • Open a layout to edit it or jump into Composer for a page directly from Usage

Reliable article preview in Composer

Article URLs in Composer now resolve like the live site—open a real path, see that article’s content, or keep the shared pattern empty while you arrange components.

Improvement

  • Composer remembers the preview URL for each page, so returning opens the same article you were editing
  • Use Show all articles to clear a selection and work on the shared pattern again

Fixes

  • Opening an article URL loads that article’s content into the preview, content fields, and component props
  • Pattern pages with no article selected stay empty so you can configure the layout without picking content first

Preview and edit a specific article in Composer · Views by route and clearer Composer empty state

On dynamic pages, open a real article in Composer, edit its content, and click through from listing pages—without changing the shared layout for every article.

Feature

  • Click path values like `:slug` in the preview address bar to search and open a real article
  • Follow links in the preview to land on the matching page with the right article selected
  • Create a new article as a draft from the picker, then publish it when you’re ready
  • Browse Views grouped by route, with nested paths under each route, then open any view in Composer

Improvement

  • Layout changes still apply to every article; a clear banner shows when you’re editing one specific piece
  • Empty Composer slots say “Click here to Add Component” with a clear icon instead of a bare drop hint

One page for every article URL

Design one Composer page for a whole family of URLs (for example `/insights/:slug`) so every article shares the same layout and personalization.

Feature

  • Create one page for a URL pattern so every matching article uses the same layout and personalization
  • Map URL pieces to fields on the page’s content so components can use From page instead of picking each entry
  • Set a preview example in Composer so preview loads a real article URL, not the pattern itself
  • Declare the content a page is about—named resources and shared fields—on page schemas (every site starts with Base), using the same Content types you already use in Composer and Content. Layouts describe structure; Blank is the empty canvas when a page does not need one

Improvement

  • Composer page-view counts roll up across every URL that matches the pattern, not one exact path
  • Page resources reuse your Content type field definitions—no second type catalog to maintain
  • From page in Composer only offers page resources that match the component’s content type when that link is known
  • Editing a Content type’s fields republishes pages that reference it so live validation stays in sync

Visitor identity across devices · Drafts keep Optimization · Reusable zones in Composer

You can now decide how AmplifyUp recognizes the same person across devices, so personalization follows them when they identify.

Feature

  • Identity settings let you choose which identifiers (email, account id, and similar) match the same visitor across devices
  • Block placeholder or junk identifier values so they never attach to a visitor
  • When a visitor identifies, their activity and personalization stay with one profile
  • Create reusable zones with named compositions and place them on any page
  • Edit a composition visually in Composer with the same live site preview as page editing

Improvement

  • Publish a zone once to refresh every page that uses it
  • Components inside a composition keep their own personalization rules and experiments

Fixes

  • New page drafts keep your Optimization rules and personalized content choices from the version you started from

Composer versions and on-request decisions

Stay on the page you are editing when you open another version, and choose when a personalization rule should decide.

Feature

  • Mark a rule Decide on request so AmplifyUp chooses the experience after the view loads—useful when screens change without a full refresh

Fixes

  • Opening a live or earlier version in Composer stays on the same page instead of jumping to another route

Setting up a goal now follows the same path as Signals: pick a type, name it, then finish the details on its own page.

Goals and experiments · Composer preview matches the live page

You can now define what success looks like, test versions on a component, and keep the winner.

Feature

  • Create goals from a starter list—submit a form, click an element, reach a page, stay engaged, come back later, and more—or keep a custom goal, then reuse them on experiments
  • Start an experiment from a component’s Optimization panel in Composer: split traffic between the original and another version, then publish to go live
  • Review results and finish by keeping a winner or going back to the original; pause anytime and publish so visitors stay on the last live setup

Improvement

  • Composer’s inspector now opens Optimization, and a running experiment stays locked until you pause and publish
  • Experiments pick from goals you already created; Set up a goal opens the Goals page so you create them in one place

Fixes

  • Search bars, buttons, and other visuals stay on the page in Composer when text becomes editable
  • Empty text fields show a “Click here to edit this field” hint; click to type, or click away with nothing entered and the hint returns

Named condition sets in Composer · Preview rules in Composer · Pages viewed personalization

Build who a rule is for as a named set of conditions — including grouped AND/OR logic — and publish it with the rest of the page.

Feature

  • Combine several conditions in one personalization rule, including grouped AND/OR sets, and give the set a name you recognize
  • Preview a personalization rule on the canvas so you can see what visitors would get

Improvement

  • Build those rules in a full Personalization editor over the page preview, while Structure stays in place
  • Edit personalized content in the Content panel — Back returns you to your rules

Fixes

  • “Pages viewed” rules now count this visit and earlier visits, so personalized content can change in the same session

Composer personalization for marketers

Personalization in Composer is built for marketers: set who sees what in plain language, reuse your default content as a starting point, and publish with confidence.

Feature

  • Personalize any component with “Except when…” rules — drag to set order so the first match wins
  • Duplicate your default entry and edit personalized content with the same fields editor as defaults

Improvement

  • Personalized components publish correctly outside a zone; new entries open as drafts; override pickers match the Content panel

Fixes

  • Creating a new entry from the picker uses the correct content type for your connected source
