Amplify UP

Personalization & experiments

Headless personalization and A/B testing

Show each visitor the version of a page most likely to convert, and test new ideas against what you have today. Built for headless CMS sites, without slowing pages down.

Personalized sections

Mark any part of a page as personalized and give it a different version for each audience.

A/B tests

Split traffic between versions and measure each one against the goals you care about.

Fast pages

The right version is chosen before the page reaches the visitor—no flicker, no layout jumps.

Plain-language rules

Write who sees what as simple sentences, like “visitors from a paid campaign on mobile”.

How optimization works

Decide, test, learn

Personalization and testing use the same building blocks, so you can move from one to the other.

1. Choose the section

Pick the hero, offer, or call to action you want to change.

2. Set who sees what

Target an audience, or split visitors between versions as a test.

3. Measure against goals

Track conversions for each version and keep the one that works.

FAQ

Common questions

What is headless personalization?
It means showing different versions of a page to different visitors on a site built with a headless CMS. Amplify UP chooses the version and your CMS still supplies the content.
How does A/B testing work with a headless CMS?
You create versions of a section in Amplify UP, using content from your CMS or written by hand. Visitors are split between them and results are measured against your goals.
Will personalization slow my site down?
No. The version is picked before the page is delivered, so visitors never see one version swap for another.
